1 Challenge
Sensoa is the Flemish specialist organisation for sexual health and HIV. One of its main goals is to inform and educate young people about sex and relationships. Together with Sensoa, we created www.allesoverseks.be: a remarkable Q&A website where young people can ask all their sex-related questions and get a straightforward answer. To promote this rather unique website, a fully integrated campaign was required.
2 Solution
We launched www.allesoverseks.be by creating a controversial viral movie, distributed via YouTube, GarageTV (a Flemish video sharing website), Facebook, Netlog (a popular Belgian social networking site specifically aimed at young people) and of course popular blogs. A specific banner was created for Netlog. Bloggers were invited to promote the website via a blog-specific banner format. Magazine ads and posters created even more awareness for allesoverseks.be.
3 Result
Through this campaign, Sensoa also generated a lot of editorial and other media attention for itself. In the first week after its launch, the campaign generated 184,088 visits, from 150,884 unique visitors to the www.allesoverseks.be website. In this period, the Dutch version of the viral posted on YouTube was viewed 102,840 times. The international version was viewed 273,918 times. The Allesoverseks page on the social network Netlog gathered 2,879 friends and 25,285 visitors. The campaign received wide positive acclaim in both online and offline press.
